1. Sea turtles are mostly found in Con Dao Island (about 180 km from Vung Tau City), Nui Chua National Park (Ninh Thuan Province), and a few in the wild (13 coastal provinces of Viet Nam). Sea turtles are classified as EN or CR in Viet Nam.
2. Yes. Rescue centres for sea turtles have been set up at Con Dao National Park and Nui Chua National Park. Trading in sea turtles and their products is banned.
